Hello aev_84,
- Logitech Gaming Mouse Catalina
- Logitech Mouse Software Catalina
- Logitech Mouse Catalina Not Working
- Logitech Marble Mouse Catalina
- Also, I use an Apple Extended keyboard and a Logitech M525 Wireless Mouse with my late 2018 Mac Mini running again the latest version of Catalina, and all is well (I was using those same two devices on my late 2012 Mac Mini that I recently sold, again running OS 10.15.3, and again all was good).
- There appears to be compatibility issue with Catalina and the Logitech Unifying Software and driver for MacOS. Even after updating the Unifying driver to the latest version on Logitech's website the Logitech Unifying Software still does see the Logitech G602 mouse. It doesn't look like Logitech has updated the driver software since 2018.
- I have been using a M557 for the last 2 year gem of a mouse never an issue. I bought a M590 yesterday (multi device silent mouse). This mouse has the exact same problem you guys explained above. Tried a bunch of options didn't work. As someone suggested above, opening logitech options s/w solves the issue, but do not want to keep doing it.
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand a Bluetooth mouse is not staying reliably connected. I'll do what I can to help.
. If you have already updated to Catalina, go ahead and update Logitech's software too. (I updated both 'Logitech Control Center' and 'Logitech Options'. If the mouse still isn't working, use 'kextstat grep -i logi ' to find your driver version. Mine was still 1.3.8, even though it should have updated to 1.3.9. The mouse is M325 and I have tried it with 2 different Unifying receivers. I am running Logitech Unifying Software 1.3.375 and Logitech Control Center 3.9.8 I have updated firmware on both Unifying receivers and after doing so the mouse never works on the receiver running v24.11(36).
Here are some suggestions:
Since you've already removed the device and added it again, try checking for any potential sources of interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
Disconnect any external devices from your computer such as any external drives and then reset the SMC and NVRAM:
If you are connected to a 2.4Ghz wireless network, try connecting to a 5Ghz network instead.
Also try disconnect from Wi-Fi altogether and see if you still have any issues.
Have a great day.
